Four New Ways To Defeat Autism Now
Many studies have shown that autism is a neurodegenerative disease with symptoms of cerebral HYPOPERFUSION, neuroinflammation and increased oxidative stress. SPECT and PET studies of the brain have shown that the hypoperfusion mainly occurs at the temporal lobes. This causes children to develop repetitive, self-stimulatory and stereotypical behaviors, have a lower IQ, and suffer with impairments in communication, sensory perception and social interaction.
Cerebral hypoperfusion can cause hypoxia or oxygen deprivation in brain cells. Many autistic children demonstrate a mild form of cerebral hypoperfusion. Based on this disturbance and the research carried out by many doctors, including Dr. Daniel Rossignol, HBOT can help on many levels:-
